Shiro vs Luna

Post by Guest on Mon May 19, 2014 6:49 pm

OOC: RULES
- Mana is unlimited
- Both mages are L-1 ranked
- No Death
- No GModding
- I shall use my Orient Solid Script, Terrain Effect, and Reflector
- No cooldowns
- Let's brawl, bitches!

A cool spring breeze bathed the grand arena. Shiro Takahashi, the guildmaster of Crest Fallen, was sitting, cross-legged, on one side of the grand coliseum, with his eyes closed. He was in a deep, meditative state. His blade, Girei, was slung over his back. An enormous audience of enthusiastic onlookers cheered him on, unaware that he was an extremely evil and powerful wizard, and also unaware that the only thing preventing them from burning to death or being frozen solid was a thin forcefield.

The announcer's voice boomed on the PA system.

[i]My friends, my friends! We gather here in Fiore's international arena to witness a battle between two of the strongest mages known to exist today! In corner one, we have Shiro Takahashi, the leader of the Trinity Knights! What a noble-sounding organization. In corner two, we have his right hand man- or woman, that is- Luna Guildenn! These two warriors of the light are going to duke it out, right in front of all of you! Are you ready for the battle of the century?!??!!

God, thought Shiro. Why didn't that announcer ever shut up? On Lacrima vision he bothered the living shit out if the guildmaster. And why was he so oblivious to Crest Fallen's existence? It wasn't THAT secret, was it?

Guh. Anyway, time to welcome the competition. Shiro stood, causing an immense spike in the magic pressure in and around the forcefield. Small rocks and pebbles began to levitate as he walked towards the center of the arena, ready for battle.

Despite the announcer's own lack of knowledge of who exactly the Crest Fallen guild was, the audiences were in euphoric cheers nonetheless. Their rowdy excitement grew in what seemed to be eternity. In reality, it existed for only a brief moment, as their chants without warning grew cold. Their sudden silence was unexpected to those who were unaware of the reputation the challenger presented. Certainly, their euphoric reaction to the rise in magical presence emanating from the Guild Master was present within them, but they held quiet, all in tribute to the next person to arrive onto the set stage--the centre of the arena.

Behind the gates which barred Shiro's opponent from the audience a red glow showed, and although it was faint, the glow was also apparent as it drew in the undivided attention of everyone in the stands. As opposed to the previous action of sudden but deliberate silence, the stares and total focus on whoever stood behind the gates on the opposite side of the arena was unanimous; it would be safe to assume that everyone was interested in what was soon to occur.

Without warning, the gates rose accompanied by a deafening pressure, as thick as it was threatening. The pure pressure presented in light of the risen gates might've been a bit suffocating to some of the weaker-willed audience, but nothing beyond that; it would seem Luna had restrained herself.

Walking forward, each step brought forth greater excitement, but a deader silence. Her pitch black armour failed to shine, despite the rays of sunlight directly basking her in its glory. All that shined was the red slit on her helm. A black miasmic substance coated her, adding to Luna's already endlessly ominous presence. It tainted the ground beneath her feet, the flat surface showing slight cracks as each step was take.

Her showy entrance came to a halt upon her own stop, directly 15 paces in front of her Guild Master. It was now that the battle would begin--who should prevail between such a fight among beings of a legendary class. Time would be the only herald here.

Shiro's guild ace, Luna, entered the field cloaked in a miasma. He could barely make out her body until she moved about 15 steps from him. The crowd had fallen silent out of intimidation and awe of his competitor. However, he did not want them to believe that she was more terrifying and evil than he- he would begin the battle with that in mind.

Well done, Luna. You've killed my applause. I was putting on quite the spectacle, as it seems.

The crowd laughed and began to cheer once more. Shiro turned to face his second-in-command, as the magic pressure spiked even higher than it had rested at before.

The announcer's voice boomed on the speakers.

With no further ado, let this battle... commence!

A gong sounded. Shiro unsheathed the blade on his back, and swung it swiftly around his head, before entering a fighting stance.

Alright, Luna. Make your move. Ladies first.
